  Storm Watch -- All in a Days Work (5th plate in the series). Storms and flooding are the major disrupters of telephone service. Artist Gary Harkrader, an employee of the Bell Atlantic Co., has captured a scene familiar to all - the rebuilding of poles and cables to restore telephone service even before the storm has passed. Mr. Harkrader's original painting has been adapted by John Mogus to capture the "feel" of this series. |
