  Come Here, Watson (3rd plate in the series). On March 10, 1876 at 5 Exeter Place in Boston, the telephone carried its first intelligible sentence. "Mr. Watson, come here, I want you!" Watson rushed into the room shouting "Mr. Bell, I heard every word you said - distinctly!"
