Artist Mike Hagel was inspired by a 1963 cover of the "Southern Telephone News" featuring "busy information operators who play a big role in giving our customers the superb service they have come to know and expect from telephone people everywhere. He has certainly captured the personal warmth of the famous "voice with a smile." |
