  This is a coin box lid (only) for the Western Electric Single Slot style pay telephones. Image shows the inside of the lid with the locking mechanism. NOTE: When you remove the coin box from the phone, it triggers the slide mechanism on the top left side of the lid and locks the mechanism. In order to reinstall the coin box back into phone, you need to locate the mechanism on the underside of the lid. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the slot and turn until it clicks. You can then reinstall the coin box back into the opening. |
